What’s Youtube’s mindset? Monopoly. They don’t care. Where will you go if you quit Youtube? Wherever you go, you can say goodby to any serious monetization (that’s low to begin with). IF another video service pops up AND works for most users (as in the video stream doesn’t lag) AND allows its users to get the same or better monetization options THEN you might get Youtube to move its ass and do something. Until then, they earn more from forced monetization of your videos and kick bass from the entertainment industry than they would if they’d give a crap.
