Here are your choices for All Request January. TMNT 2, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Krull. Awesome! Some great picks, this is going to be fun. TMNT 2 took off like a shot, which isn’t surprising because it almost won last year. I have a lot to say about Krull so it’s a good thing I have some extra time to work on it this year! Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter should be a blast.
As for the movies that didn’t make it, I’ll try to pepper them throughout the year. With the exception of Battlefield Earth and The House of the Dead, these movies are all ones that I’ve been wanting to do anyway. (The only way I’ll do Battlefield Earth is if it gets voted in and I might do House of the Dead as a sort of look into Uwe Boll)
Thanks again everyone!
Oh and as for this week, with it being Thanksgiving I’m just doing another brief movie recommendations video. The week after that starts the Christmas movies!
Holy cow!! Such excellent choices. I can’t wait!!
Yay! My top three made it! I cannot wait until TMNT 2. Earlier this week I imagined that if the movie had the same tone as the first film, the opening in the store should have had the turtles cut out the power and then take out the robbers one by one with items in the shops, but we would never see them, or the items they used, until the next scene. I could defiantly see one of the robbers getting pulled into the darkness with Mikey’s yoyo, and the next scene would show Mikey playing with and and imitating the situation in April’s apartment. Then, in a behind the scenes look at “Batman Begins”, Christopher Nolan would state that his inspiration for the first appearance of Batman at the docks came from the opening of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze”. Also, I used to think that Professor Perry was a smarter Baxter Stockmen, and after I found out about utroms, I figured that he was a cross between him and maybe Krang.
Hi Cecil!
Yea, my 1, 2, and 3 choices all got selected. The only one I didn’t select was Krull.
I am recouping from sinus surgery tonight, so I was saving this week’s video for tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving!
TMNT 2 was a shoe in for sure. Krull would have been my fifth choice had I been allowed to pick more.
Looking forward to what you have to say about these select pick flicks!
I can’t wait to see your take on Krull. Damn but that’s a great movie.
Decent selections and I look forward to them. Thanks for giving the little-known kick ass movie that is Ring of Steel a chance. I was really looking forward to your behind the scenes factoids on it.
Ring of Steel rules!!!! I am Traybor, from the Shire of Ravenhurst of the Clan of Pasedina….I’m a Chaotic Evil Barbarian.
Happy to see Krull make the cut and will definitely check out the rest this January. Happy Thanksgiving,Cecil!
Happy Thanksgiving, Cecil! 🙂
My two choices (Mortal Kombat and Krull) made it and “Demolition Man” came close ^_^
>and I might do House of the Dead as a sort of look into Uwe Boll
I wonder if this movie could be used to compare his “adaptation” movies with his original works, even if tangentially so (because I’ve heard that his original work isn’t near as bad as his “adaptations” and I’m curious if it is true)
And yay, chances for “The Magic Crystal” however slim 🙂
2 of my films Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter made the cut but No Hold Barred failed to make the top 4.
Don’t know anything about Krull so that’s why I didn’t vote for it.
I voted for House of the Dead because you haven’t done an Uwe Boll film yet and although stupid was a fun film unlike Bolls recent films.
I’m not sure I agree with some selections, the website is GOOD Bad Flicks, not Horrible Bad Flicks. BFE can get skipped, along with Mortal Kombat AND Street Fighter. They’re just bad, there’s really nothing good about them.
I like first Mortal Kombat movie. It had both Cristopher Lambert and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in it, at the very least!
