Over on the left tab you’ll see a Poll of the top 20 movies I received the most requests for. Pick your favorite 4 and at the end of 2 weeks I will announce the 4 movies you guys and gals picked that I will be reviewing in January 2012!
This is the least I can do for all your support over the past year. You all have been great and I’m glad you continue to enjoy the show.
Thanks!

I would love you forever if you did Adventures in Dinosaur City. Sure, it’s bad by today’s standards, but I watched the crap out of the VHS when I was little.
You know, it’s funny you mention that. I’ve been wanting to do a back to back of Dinosaur City and Tammy and the T-Rex. Problem is, I’ve been trying to find an uncut copy of Tammy which is proving more difficult than I thought. I’ll keep it in mind and I may just do DC in the spring because it is indeed excellent. ^^
Kinda surprised to see Suspiria and Toxic Avenger over there. Never figured they were considered bad.
I never did the Toxic Avenger because I always thought it was too popular. I got a ton of requests for it though, so I guess people just wanted to see my take on it.
Perhaps people wanted to see Suspiria so I would do more Giallo films?
ReAnimator? The Last Starfighter? C’mon.
I voted for Catwoman just to see if you can convince me that it was good.
Not a fan of ReAnimator or Last Starfighter I guess? Don’t worry, Rock n Roll Nightmare is on the very short list of movies for the new year. 🙂
Catwoman is a TERRIBLE movie…but it is also one of the best unintentional comedies ever. I’m smirking just thinking about it.
LOL, no no NOOOOO, ReAnimator and The Last Starfighter are INCREDIBLE movies, I pity any fool that would consider them bad.
I’m really hoping that Catwoman pulls through (as you would be the first person that I’ve seen say good things about it) but whatever wins, your reviews are always awesome.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh! That makes sense now. I totally read that wrong.
The first time I watched Catwoman I had no idea I would enjoy it so much. The whole time I watched it I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It’s ridiculous. I may not sway any people into enjoying the film, but at the very least I think the episode will be entertaining.
Thanks! 🙂
still hoping for a deadly prey review once :D.
I kinda agree with the person above me. Didn’t like it one bit (also didn’t vote for it).
Deadly Prey certainly is a classic in bad cinema. Don’t worry, I’ll review that some day.
I also feel that Re-Animator, Suspiria, and Toxic Avenger are great films yet are pretty mainstream in the cult area. Maniac Cop is also pretty mainstream, but I love it.
I’m very surprised TerrorVision is at the bottom of the list (only 2 votes???), since I thought it had a large cult following. I would enjoy seeing you take on some gialli, especially Welcome to Spring Break.
And did someone say Rock n Roll Nightmare?
Yeah, I enjoy them very much but didn’t consider them for the show because I felt like they already have a pretty big following. However, if people want to see em, well I’ll do the shows.
I have a pretty big list of giallo, I’m kind of surprised I haven’t done them yet. I think I’ve mentioned Stagefright a few times on various episodes but haven’t done it yet.
Soooooo many choices…
What are you gonna do in the event of a tie?
If that happens I guess I’ll have to extend the content into February, which I’m sure would make some folks extra happy. 🙂
well, you could start off with Johnny Mnemonic, as it appears in the posters section of the page.
I plan on doing Johnny Mnemonic sometime soon. I have the full Japanese cut, which as far as I’m concerned is the real cut of the movie. There is about 10-15 minutes of additional footage, the scenes are arranged differently, new music, more of the religious backstory, etc. All around a much better and more complete movie than what was released in the US.
