Hey Cecil! Let me just start off by saying congrats on the little one! My best to you and the missus.
This movie looks like a great time. Killer cats have been done before i think? But nothing like this probably. Oh and that Toonces joke made me crack up like nobodys business. Great vid! Hope to see another Good Bad Games soon.
I’m working feverishly on the next Good Bad Games and I hope to have it ready for Sept. I wish I could get them out faster but they take a lot longer to produce.
Hell Cat would’ve been a billion times better title. When I saw the title for the review, at first I misread and thought you were spotlighting Lovecraft’s The Unnamable (1988), but then I checked the title again and thought you were doing The Uninvited (2009). My point, this is a terrible title and you should add a year next to it when the title is so generic (unless you were going for a surprise in which case it worked 🙂 ).
You know what’s the most shocking thing about this movie, though? It features an ACADEMY AWARD WINNING ACTOR. What the hell, George?
It kind of disappointed me that you exposed yourself to be a cat lover. When a dog does it, he’s always a villain, but a cat.. No sir, cat’s never kill unless in self-defense… Fucking cat-liberals… (this section was my terrible attempt at a joke, btw),
Oh, and how the hell did you even find out about this? You were looking for a cat horror, you saw the cover and it got you hooked, or you went through Greydon Clark’s filmography? 🙂
This movie is a jaw dropper!
I didn’t even recognise Clu Gulager untill his death scene (what’s with the goofy teeth?) I thought the cat was going to escape from the lab on that motorcycle.
Great song Psychostick!
Looks like a lot of fun. I just added it to my Netflix dvd queue. It is with a movie called Mutant (1984?). Do your know anything about Mutant? Speaking of Netflix, I recently caught “Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band” (1978) on streaming. Wow, that totally reminded me of you in a good way. Any thoughts of that one? If you already mentioned that one: sorry. Missed it.
Mutant is a movie about zombies actually lol. I was thinking about covering it at some point because it is fun/funny. I think you’ll like it. 🙂
Probably going to skip the Sgt Pepper. I have a thing with the Beatles. I respect the hell out of them, they have had a huge influence over music and rightly deserve their place in history. That said, I am sick of hearing them and I never want to hear another one of their songs again as long as I live.
I so know what you mean by The Beatles. My mom would play them all the time when I was growing up, so I completely know what you mean. I can take some of their later more psychedelic stuff sometimes, but their earlier bubble gum pop stuff really annoys me. The only reason why I saw it was because I have heard it declared as one of the worst movies of all time. So, that means I had see it. It was crazy while it lasted. Now, no more Beatles, please.
FINALLY a Movie I have already seen before! 🙂
Though I thought the best part of it was the lenticular picture on the VHS box cover (german version, no idea if other countries had that as well)… 😀
But I have to say that watching your video makes it look far more interesting, if I hadn’t already got the tape I would have rushed out to go get it.
Now I want to watch it again.
That cat is more talkative than Lloyd… I didn’t think that was possible.
lol indeed!

And not a single pussy joke! I salute your restraint, Cecil! 😛
It was too obvious so I didn’t go for it 🙂
That’s a GREAT intro and the song rocks! 🙂

Thanks! Psychostick are great, we have something else lined up for later in the year.
Ah Unnamable, yeah that one is on the list.
I saw it ages ago but the movie was suggested by the band. They offered to do the theme in exchange for me doing a video on the movie.
Have you heard that robin williams is dead cecil?
Yes, its kind of hard not to have heard.
This movie is a jaw dropper!

I wonder if that was supposed to be part of his character or he just had bad false teeth.
Thanks!
