Hey everyone, check this out.
As of my writing the Kickstarter has 58 hours left and $100 to go.
Last year, a nice fellow by the name of Ed put out a book called So Bad It’s Good, which was about the phenomenon of “bad” movies like Birdemic and The Room. It was a fun and well-written coffee table book (or e-coffee table book, if that is even a thing?) that focused on all kinds of famous cinematic disasters.
Well, as with many bad movies, books get sequels, too! So, this is a Kickstarter for the sequel to the book.

With this one, yours truly is doing the foreward. Allison Pregler (Obscurus Lupa Presents) did the foreward to the original book.
Beyond that, there will be other folks lending their voices to the text. So Bad, It’s Good II: Electric Bookaloo includes contributions from actor Greg Sestero (The Room), director Colin Theys (Alien Opponent), and online reviewer Allison Pregler (Obscurus Lupa Presents).
There are some nice perks, like a liveriff launch party with me, Ed, and Allison where you get to pick the movie we will riff (The people who vote within those tiers can suggest the movie they want to see, then after we have that list, we will let them vote on the one they want to see the most since we can’t do all of them!).
If the totals get high enough, there will be bonus content penned by myself, Allison, and even Lewis Schoenbrun, director of The Amazing Bulk.
Of course, if you don’t want to pledge that much, you could always just pledge at the $10 level and get an e-book copy for your enjoyment. Either way, you’ll be spreading the love for good bad movies and supporting So Bad It’s Good II: Electric Bookaloo, and that’s pretty awesome.
I don’t know how to end this. Watermelon.
Awesome! I’ll pledge when I get paid next week 🙂
Watermelon!
hehehe 🙂
I still have to read the first. I would contribute if I had a job at the moment.
Its cool, I know money is tight all over.
