Exploring Chernobyl Diaries – Episode 129
Another entry in my “Exploring” series. This time around I take a deeper look into the Chernobyl disaster and how it influenced the horror film Chernobyl Diaries. This episode is one of the more serious ones I’ve done since I just couldn’t bring myself to add any comedy. The Chernobyl disaster was one of the things that changed my perspective on the world so it only felt right to do this one seriously.
I am Number Four – Episode 128
Yet another addition of mainstream for this month. I am Number Four is a movie adapted from a book series that unfortunately was lumped in as another Twilight attempt. While there is a teen romance and superpowers, the film is fast paced entertainment and not the dull mess that the Twilight movies are known for.
Legion – Episode 127
The first movie from Priest director Scott Stewart. An interesting take on the apocalypse with lots of action and Paul Bettany once again kicking ass.
Arachnia – Episode 126
A classic, old school homage to the stop motion monster films of the 50s and 60s made in the 2000s.
Mind Ripper – Episode 125
Mind Ripper is a cool little sci-fi action film that entertains but doesn’t tax your brain all that much.
Solo – Episode 124
Goofy? Yes. A ripoff of better movies? Yes. A fun action sci-fi to entertain you on a lazy Saturday afternoon? Yes.
