Spot on about Red Dawn. While I could watch Chris Hemsworth all day long, the remake just didn’t have the soul or the grit of the original. And seemed to miss the point entirely. The fact that the Cold War’s over has got to be a big reason, too.
Evil Dead 2 is great, especially if you’re a coward. 1 is, by far, the scarier of the two. It still gives me the willies. 2’s a lot of fun, and a good pick.
Oh my God, Clue. That movie’s just brilliant. I love it to bits.
And Tremors 2! Love that movie as well. Actually, I like all four, even if 3 and 4 aren’t that good. And I hate the name “ass blasters”.

That opening of Red Dawn is great. Makes me remember of the opening of Red Alert 2 and how much it makes me wanna play that game again. Its probably even better because Red Dawn didnt have mind controlled squids.
A couple of horror comedies worth checking out that I found on Netflix are Cockneys Vs Zombies and Grabbers. Both worth checking out for their craziness.
