Whoops, thought you were talking about Parker on Twitter, heh.
You have some good points on Killer Mermaid, but, I dunno. There was so much “teen drama” there that it seemed to drag. Yeah, the mermaid looked great, and I liked how they used the folklore, and the location shots were lovely, but as a whole, it left me kind of cold. And not just because of the sequel bait ending.
Also, not enough killer mermaid. Was more of an accessory to murder mermaid.
I usually check VOD and straight to DVD films before theatre release movies but the ones I watched in 2014 were mostly terrible watching 2 of the worst films in one week Mercenaries that is basically the female equivalent of The Expendables and The Extendables written and directed by Shao Khans Brian Thompson an unfunny parody of one of the greatest actors ever Van Damme.
I really liked seasons 1-3 of Californication; I binged watched for about a month into the middle of season 5. I might pick it up again this summer just to finish the series but season 4 was a bit of chore and I hated the start of season 5 so much I had to suspend operations.

ohhhhhhhhhhh makes sense now
Killer Mermaid wasn’t without its issues, but I thought they did a good job. Barbara Crampton liked it too. 🙂

I liked it better when it was the “Expendabelles”

Wish netfix would put on Best of the Best 2
Me too, Best of the Best 1-2 are both really good
