It blows me away that Hansel and Gretel was on WatchMojo’s list of “Worst Movies of 2013,” and it has a 21/100 on Metacritic. I agree with you about it: it was just a fun, entertaining film. It was something that knew what it was, and aimed to succeed at that. I guess people didn’t get it?
It was like they thought the movie was supposed to be serious or something. Most likely the same people who expected Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter to be like Lincoln.
People Under the Stairs. I stopped coming up with different images for each movie because it was getting too time consuming, so now I just use a screencap from the movie I’m recommending.
I loved Sex Drive. Thought the “Unrated” cut of the film was a perfect commentary on the Unrated trends of comedies in the 2000s. It was more so amazing because the they warned you with we are just going to add a bunch of boobs and dicks throughout the film and boy it was hilarious to get a scene transition with a neck down male and female just walking into the screen then off to transition. Hilarious
I watched Europa Report because of your top 10 list. Damn, but it was an amazing film. I loved it. And that ending… dang!
Awesome! Glad you liked it. The end was so well done.

Hey Cec, what movie is the “Horror” screencap from? That looks creepy as Hell!
I suppose it was “The People Under the Stairs.”

Oy, I’ve seen TPUTS (and yeah, it’s awesome), but I don’t remember that scene. Thanks!

First time I saw it was with my brother in law on a whim. We didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Holy crap, is that movie funny.
