Gotta agree with you on the MST3K question. For the longest time, I was a hard-core Joel supporter, but as I’ve watched more and more episodes that I missed, I’ve found that I really kind of prefer Mike. Which is weird, since I started with Joel (back when it was the Comedy Channel).
I have a question to add to this, where can I recommend Movies? The Obvious thing would just be the comments of a video… Speaking of which, “They” is a decent candidate for you. 2002 Horror with some decent CG and a really stupid plot.
Never got the hate for Cool World. Loved it since 1993 (I saw it a year after it was out).
You’re right on the money when it comes to Bloodrayne series, though.
By the way, if you can’t stand violence against animals, never see atmospheric weird Australian 70s classic The Walkabout with barely legal Jenny Agutter. An Aborigines man very graphically kills a whole bunch of animals for food during his several days of walkabout in the outback and then a hunter takes out even more animals with a rifle (all part of classic indie director Nicholas Rogue’s message about animal killing).

Its weird. Mike and Joel are both great, its like trying to decide which of your children you like the most.

Oh wow, They. I don’t remember much about it, I’ll have to revisit.

Yikes, well there is a difference between killing to survive and killing just for the sake of. I’ve heard this was a really amazing movie though.
