Ok, so as you can see the winners are Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Catwoman, Suburban Commando, and Re-Animator. The others that didn’t win I am keeping on the short list and I will do my best to get to them over the course of 2012.
I’m not sure of the order of these yet. However, the first one will air January 8th.
Thanks for voting! You have all made this year amazing!
Kinda surprised at Killer Klowns and Re-Animator, considering they’re titanic cult classics. Of the four, I’m most looking forward to seeing how you salvage quality (or at least fun) out of Catwoman.
Also, January has 5 Sundays this (next) year! As a consumer of your free product, I demand that you work on a holiday (possibly while hung over) to appease my unreasonable expectations!
I’m surprised as well. I love both those movies but I thought they might be too “mainstream obscure” if that makes sense. It’s cool though, I have a ton of stuff for all of them.
Catwoman is going to be a blast. I’m gearing up to watch it again over Christmas with family and friends.
LOL yes, I’ll get right on that. (I was wondering if anyone was going to notice Jan was a 5 sunday month) In reality, if I can I may have something up then but it depends on how much other stuff I get done first. Then again, I might just give myself a little break. I’m sure there will be a mountain of video games and new movies that will need my attention. 🙂
I’m wondering how you are going to salvage out of “Suburban Commando”, given it’s a sci-fi comedy.
I may not change your mind on the movie but I promise to make an entertaining show!
The winners made me do a happy dance.
Yay! I’m pretty excited about finally doing Catwoman.
huh huh I said “doing Catwoman”
Heh heh.
Seriously though, given the chance who wouldn’t do any incarnation of catwoman?
lol you have a point…although I never really was a fan of any of the girls who played Catwoman back in the old Adam West Show. I thought they were too frumpy and acted like my grandmother. I was a big fan of Batgirl though.
I know it did not win, but whenever you review the second TMNT movie, are you going to take a few minutes to talk about the first film and mention the differences? As well as the utrom that was rumored to be in the movie? Hate to go off track, but there is a Casey Jones fan film that had Krang cameo, and it made me wonder how the first film would have ended if we saw the police search the warehouse and stubble upon a secret room, and a shadow of a brain wound be seen. The equipment the foot stole could have been use to make a weapon or a transportation machine/device. By the way, are you a fan of TMNT?
I’m a massive TMNT fan so even though the movie didn’t make the requests, I still plan on doing it at some point. I have a good bit on how parents were protesting the series because of their use of ninja weapons and such, which was why in part 2 they barely used their swords and gear. I’ve never seen the fan film, I’ll have to check it out.
So, did your fandom start with the comics or the cartoon? I have no idea where mine started, since the first movie came out the year I was born, but I know that it was either the toys or the cartoon. I did not even know of the comics until the 2003 cartoon came out. I’d see art from the comics online, with the blood and violence, and think it was fan art lol.
I saw the cartoon first, then fell in love with the comics and the movie…even though they are all pretty different. I have a bunch of TMNT stuff around the house. I have shirts, glasses, and my wife just got me two fleece TMNT blankets.
I wasn’t huge on the newer cartoons. They weren’t bad, I just didn’t get into them like the old ones. I love all the movies though and wish they would make more. 1 and 2 are my favorites of the movies. Ninja Rap!
