“I’m going to get revenge by killing your family. But first, I’m gonna kill a while bunch of other people first!”
Wow. This… wow. When I was whiling away time rocking back and forth in front of the lenticular cover, I always thought it was a serious horror movie with a really dumb concept. I’m kind of relieved that it didn’t take itself seriously.
Also, the kid in the beginning just makes me think of It’s a Wonderful Life… “Look daddy, teacher says, every time a bell rings, and angel gets its wings!”
I know, right? He was at his house he could have easily waited for them to go to sleep and then melt in and kill them all. Instead he kills a bunch of people that had nothing to do with his execution. Well, I guess he was a serial killer but you would think revenge would have been top priority.
I’m glad they didn’t try to go serious with this, it most likely would have been awful.
I think they may have been going for a Wonderful Life vibe but went so intentionally overboard with the kid voice…or they just had to much eggnog.
When I was in a video store, a father was asked a clerk for “Jack Frost”, with Michael Keaton, for a group of children, maybe for a party. The clerk tried, and I think the father may have been impatient. The clerk finally found the title, and they went to get it from the shelf (though she seemed at bit confused). It was this movie. I would have loved to have seen the reaction of the children, expecting a family movie, if the father actually rented it. I don’t know what happened and I did not see what he did when they found the movie on the shelf, but I have wondered–did he get it? did he show it to them?

Why doesn’t syfy show this during the holidays?!
That seems like it would be a no brainer! This would be a perfect fit for SyFy, especially during one of their marathons.
This is my favorite “horror movie” to share with my friends, simply because of the “Looks like Christmas came a little early this year” line.
Good video as always =)
Agreed. This is one of those movies you can watch with a bunch of friends and have an impromptu riff fest. So much cheese.
Thanks!

There is most likely a group of kids that grew up to be terrified of snowmen.
The kid voice and the adult voice in the beginning were clearly the same person.
At first, I thought this might be “Jack Frost” with Michael Keaton. Now that’s a true horror film, I know I wanted to scream several times.
