Did you meet John Saxon?
I thought the idea of not being safe on the beach was scary. “Sand Sharks” seems a callback to this, and I wish a movie would come out and explore this idea more (there has been many that have done it with the ocean, but “next to nothing” with this concept).
The blooming light through the windows–distinctive. Reminds me of Janusz Kaminski’s work.
Tv used to show this movie repeatedly in the 1980s, I think. I have a nostalgia for the early ’80s/late ’70s.
