Not really. It had some nice visuals but I just didn’t care about any of it. I felt he was the worst possible director for the film, it is not even close to his style.
The only place I’ve liked Zooey Deschanel was in the Sci-Fi Channel Wizard of Oz sequel miniseries Tin Man. That was quite good.
I liked her in the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy.
