For this week’s episode of Good Bad Flicks I begin the exploration into Ozploitation with the 1982 classic Turkey Shoot. There are so many greats in the genre it took me a while to decide which one to do first. Turkey Shoot is a very sadistic and yet entertaining movie set in the dystopian future of 1995.
We saw that Romeo and Juliet in a catholic high school and the nun stopped the video right before the sex scene and then we continued with the movie the next day and she had fast forwarded past it. BOOOOOO!
NO ! NO ! NO ! I took my girlfriend to see this at the cinema when it came out in the UK as Turkey Shoot and spent the rest of the evening apologising. It is god-awful.
Wasn’t there a scene with two people forced to battle each other while wearing large balloons filled with petrol ?

O.K., maybe I need to see it again but only if I can pick up a really, really cheap copy.
