Is that… is that “black magic” book the LDS Doctrine and Covenants book?
Also… I was thinking this had a lot in common with Blood Feast, but didn’t think anyone would actually want to connect their name to Herschell Gordon Lewis. Which, of course, raises questions about why I know about Blood Feast. Um… look over there! *flees*
I had to look it up, but it looks like a supplimental book to the Book of Mormon. I paused the video on a shot of the book, and I’m pretty sure they were using a copy of the D&C. The references in the text to Missouri were a give-away.
You know, it’s weird, both Boll and HGL clearly hate(d) their audiances and view(ed) them with nothing but contempt, but at least HGL was thrifty as opposed to exploiting tax laws to make bank on trash. Holy crap. That was almost a compliment to HGL!
I think that really says something about Mr. Boll. He compares disfavorably to HGL. *shudder*
Boll succeeds in spite of himself. I almost wonder if he even likes making movies since every interview I hear with him, he does nothing but complain about it. I’ve heard countless directors who do low budget stuff and movies are their lives. Boll just seems like he stumbled into a good thing and makes movies because money.
1.tom and jerry the movie
2.the secret of nimh 2 timmy to the rescue
3. ALIEN 3 AND ALIEN RESIRETION
4.STAR TRECK MOVIES
5.DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 2
6.CHILD PLAYS MOVIES
7.ASTERIX AND OBELIX REVIEW
1 – Probably not
2 – No
3 – Alien 3 definitely, 4 more than likely
4 – I love them but not much I could say that hasn’t already been said
5 – yep, doing 2 and 3
6 – currently working on it
7 – Probably at some point
Can’t say I liked Alien 3 and 4 was an unnecessary sequel just to cash in on the Alien franchise using one of the worst plot devices in movies and games cloning.
Not seen any of the Childs Play movies that I don’t think have ever been shown on UK TV since the media hysteria connected Childs Play 3 with the death of 2 year old Jamie Bulgar by 2 older 10 year old kids despite them not seeing the film and under the pressure of the press the distributer decided to stop releasing Childs Play 2 and 3 in the UK.
I was toying with the idea of doing all the F13 movies at some point or doing a retrospective. I don’t know. I think I can offer some new insight but its tough with a subject that has been covered so much.
I enjoy both versions of Alien 3. The main concept has some amazing ideas that unfortunately wasn’t embraced by the community. As Cristiona said “people were expecting an Aliens sequel and they got an Alien sequel.”. Alien 4 should have been awesome but the director had final script approval and changed things constantly. He also spoke no english and had to direct via a translator. Yeah, that wouldn’t create a problem. (this is why so many of the characters played so off the wall, they weren’t getting the proper direction)
Child’s Play 1-2 are the best, 3 is my least favorite, 4 is silly, and 5…I need to see 5 again. I wasn’t too fond of it when I first saw it but I get the feeling I would like it if I saw it again now.
Alien 3 is a terribly underrated movie, especially if you see the assembly cut. I think people were expecting an Aliens sequel and they got an Alien sequel.
Thinking of this film I forgot about the other horror comedies although not in the same of the walls crazy as this film Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood and Body Bags.
I didn’t say I wouldn’t review the movies you suggested, I said I wouldn’t review some of the movies you suggested. There is no sense for me to review something like the Die Hard series. I love the series (well, the first 3 mostly, haven’t seen the 5th one yet) and there really isn’t much I can add that hasn’t already been covered. Why I do a movie like Catwoman is to say that while most people are shitting all over it because it is a bad movie, they are missing just how hilarious it is. Unintentional comedies are some of the best comedies out there. I like to point out to people that while a movie may be bad, that is what often makes it enjoyable.
Movie security guards always have the worst hats.
lol

The book of Mormon?
I wonder if in the future people will think or Uwe Boll along the lines of HGL.

Do you plan to do Jason X in a future episode?

The best description of Alien 3 I’ve heard.
have you seen the cine masochist’s episode on this?
Yep, CM did a great job. He and I have a lot of the same tastes in movies.
Thinking of this film I forgot about the other horror comedies although not in the same of the walls crazy as this film Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood and Body Bags.
Bordello of Blood is hilarious!
i also liked super mario bros the movie i always thinking if it can work as a video game movie it can work as a action movie and a comedy movie
SMB is way better than what it gets credit for.
