Nope, nothing with Joe Don Baker. Although I was just watching Final Justice on MST3K other night. (that’s not part of the hint, just what made me think of using Joe Don Baker)
Mystery Science Theatre 3000 – The Movie?
Great googely moogely how would one do that? I can’t imagine the level of difficulty of making fun of a movie that is making fun of a movie.
Fun fact: I saw the MST3k movie in the theater. Granted, I had to travel into the city and go to one of those artsy theaters but it was totally worth it.
You are my hero. It didn’t get a handy release and I was in college at the time. But, my goodness, it’s a fantastic movie. I must have watched it dozens of times and I still laugh every time. It might be hard to do, but it would be worth it because the MST3K movie kicks ass.

It was one of those rare times that being in the theater was worth it. Since it was only playing in art houses, the folks that went were die hard mst fans. Everyone laughed and cheered at all the right times, the whole crowd had a very happy vibe. Everyone was there to enjoy the movie and no one was there to be a dick.
I love the movie but there are episodes that I love more. Still, I play it from time to time. Right now it is on Netflix instant…if it wasn’t 1:30 am I would probably put it on but I really should get some sleep.

I just picked up the Blu ray for that a few weeks ago! Great movie and I do plan on doing that sometime later in the year.
My first thought was Warrior of the Lost World, but that was an mst3k episode…
