While I enjoy Ringu very much, it is pretty well known. If I do any of the ring style J horror, it most likely will be the lesser known ones like The Eye or Memento Mori.

I saw Cold Harvest a few years ago on the web when I was looking for Isaac Florentine films after seeing Undisputed 2.
Entertaining flick well worth 20p if you factor in it was one of those double feature/ double sided DVD’s.
City of Fear was terrible though.

Nope, not the Ring. I think every movie would be made better by Supergirl smashing Samara’s head against a TV screen, much in the same way every movie should end with Gweneth Paltrow’s head in a box.

Hell YEAH Lifeforce…. my childhood nightmare movie. The 2 other ones are the Fog which I maybe misremembered as a Zombie Movie… still there was some Axe Head stuff and a boat….mmh ,… and an episode of Star Trek TOS (the salt monster one).
To Lifeforce I remember I was a little pest at 8-10 years old and wanted to see that move. I screamed hell, I can handle this, I won’t have nightmares. After the “Vampire” stood on a hill of corpses succing their lifeforce I watched stonefaced and went to bed with nightmares for a week. I derserved that ;P.

Agreed no way. There’s so many other ones that can be done, the Cannon films, Eye of the Tiger, Alienator, Eliminators, Exterminator, any Roddy Piper movie, Any Frank Zagarino movie, Project X29A, etc etc…..
HELL YES! The interrogation scene with the stick of dynamite in Eye of the Tiger made me laugh so hard my head nearly exploded Scanners style. That HAD to have been Gary Busey’s idea.
