I think 2012 has been pretty underwhelming perhaps due to the hype and publicity of the major releases that I think failed to live up to expectations excluding Hobbit and Skyfall that I have not seen yet so I can’t pass judgement on those films.
My worst movie of the year might be Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance or Safe.
My best/worst usually runs a little late because I still have plenty of movies from 2012 that I need to see. Been a pretty good year. Saw a few excellent films and managed to avoid most of the stinkers. I still need to see Skyfall, The Hobbit, Dark Knight Rises, Argo, Dredd, and The Woman in Black just to name a few.
What would the excellent films be? I didn’t feel there were any particular films that stood out good or bad although there were some good movies like Looper and Killer Joe.
I heard Women in Black is supposed to be pretty good although it just does not interest me so I doubt I will watch it.
The Nicholas Cage movie Stolen was pretty good despite being a huge flop and rehashing a story that essentially has been done before.
Recently saw Dredd and was pretty good. Shame it lost £20 million from a $50 million dollar budget perhaps due to the fact most screening were in 3D.
