It’s pretty hard to find that there does not seem to be any links online where you can even find Spiders (2000). I got it for a pound along with a bunch of other flms that I never heard of like Sickle.
I thought the SFX where bad for an early 90’s movie but it was a 2003 film.
The alien on the UK DVD box cover I don’t remember actually being in the movie.
There was a kick around the late 90s early 2000s with Spider movies. I have Spiders, Spiders 2, Earth vs the Spider, 8 Legged Freaks, Arachnid, and Arachnia. (Arachnia is tremendously awesome/awful and I want to do it soon)
The Spiders in Spiders I thought looked and felt creepy when they are not CGI although the trailer basically gives the entire story away especially the ending. ItΓ’β¬β’s like a GoodBadFlicks without the commentary or film info. π
I didn’t know they made a sequel Spiders 2 I am definitely going to look that up.
“Sickle, the Kane Hodder movie?”
No I thought it was the same movie when I looked it up on IMDB but the year does not match that has a different title in the US called The Slaughterhouse Massacre.
Stop motion animation always has a weird creepiness to it.
Ah I see. Sickle (the Kane Hodder one) is actually kinda cool. I’ll have to check this one out though because I’m a glutton for punishment. heh

I refuse to believe that’s the theme song. You clearly just spliced in some Looney Tunes music!
Skinny dipping mid-escape? Well, it’s an 80’s movie. I’m pretty sure there were union rules about that sort of thing. I mean, just look at the (awesome) shower scene in Stripes. Completely bolted on, but there it was!
I know, right? It is some of the most out of place music ever. When I was showing this to my wife the other week she looked at me and said “wait, is this a comedy?”. When I told her no she just shook her head in disbelief.
Oh yeah, 80s rules. No matter what is going on in the film if there is one tiny bit of downtime it needs to be filled with a shower scene, sex scene, or some kind of random nudity. The first time I saw Stripes was the TV edit so I had no idea what John Larroquette was looking at. Years later I saw the R rated version and the scene made much more sense. (it was also much more entertaining)
Holy out of place theme song, Cecil!! Are you sure you didn’t add that in yourself? π
I think I’d rather be remembered for Robo Cop coming out the same year as this movie – I’m a 29 year old female, and I loved Robo Cop when I was young. Fascinated by it, in fact. Blame Transformers.
Yes, indeed, make no mistake about it, and accept no substitutes, this film looks like a turkey fest. The wipe effect you showed was hysterical…this effect would look great in one of your videos (just kidding). And yes, in a big country, dreams stay with you, like a lover’s voice across the mountain side (violin music). I kept expecting Quads to come rolling into the scene. I got the joke. π
Oh,and I have 3 STDs after seeing the review of this movie, just by associating myself with clips of it. Two of them are unidentified.
That’s why I had to stress that I totally didn’t put that music in. Talk about an out of place theme song! I wonder if there is a story behind that. (unfortunately, there isn’t too much out there about this one)
Robocop is one of the few perfect movies. There isn’t a single thing I would change about it. I love it to pieces. Peter Weller is also my all time favorite actor and I have his autograph but it is from Buckaroo Banzai, not Robocop. (as of yet)
Ah good, a few people got the Big Country reference. The bonus to having a diverse audience. π
Endangered Species/Earth Alien had a lot of unnecessary nudity in it from what I remember.

Eric Roberts, Arnold Vosloo, and John Rhys-Davies? How did I miss this?!

Nice reference to “In a Big Country!” π
I’m glad at least one person got it! π

LOL!
Oh man there’s a reason I know your the best reviewer on the net…. AWESOMENESS
I feel in love with Nancy Allen on Philadelphia Experiment. A man can get lost in those baby blues…
She gets a lifetime pass for being in Robocop. She is a solid and very pretty actress, sad she isn’t bigger.
