If you want to see a movie that does for parkour what this flick does for first person action, you should check out the (French) action classic
District B13 (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414852/reference
if you haven’t already.
That’s the movie that was very poorly remade as Paul Walker’s Brick Mansions (2014).
B13 also had a much weaker sequel. Just check out the original B13 if you haven’t already. The story is ridiculous, but the action is all amazing stunt, no special effects.
Hell yeah, District 13 was awesome. I recommended it in a Netflix vid a while ago. Been meaning to see Brick Mansions to see how badly they messed it up. (even with the original guy)
If you liked Crank, you’ll like Hardcore Henry. Stylish hyperkinetic violence, lotsa fun. Two parts Call of Duty Modern Warfare, one part Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2. Seriously, the “Jimmy’s Lab” scene is basically Pripyat from CoD; MW 1. Not for the squeamish. Sharlto Copley was great, but trying to make out the plot info dump was kinda hard through his accent.

Funny thing is, I didn’t like Crank but loved Crank 2.
