This is part 1 of the survival horror game Cold Fear. It has the feel of the old Resident Evil games while mixing it up in a completely unique environment.
Deep Rising for sure, but also a ton of Virus in there as well. Too bad it doesn’t have Cyborg Donald Sutherland in it. This game looks terrifying but the controls seem to be a little stiff. Kinda a big ways away from Dead Space with very fluid controls.
The controls definitely made you dislike any and all combat because switching to aim opened you up to attack. It didn’t ruin the game, I was able to enjoy it all the way through, it just made for horrible battles.
I’m not big on remakes but if they took this and did it Gears of War style, it would be a hell of a lot more liked.
I have it on the list but I have a bunch of other games already captured that I’m doing first. Plus, I don’t want to do too many survival horror games in a row!

I’d heard pretty bad things about this game, but this review is great. I know GBG is a lot of work, but they’re totally worth it.

Never heard of this game – seems interesting. Lots of jump scares though! Can’t wait for part 2 of your review!

It really feels like a side story to Resident Evil. With the clumsy controls and jump scares, I’d say between 1 and 2.
Cecil, please consider doing a video on The Thing – Xbox/PS2/PC game. Hands down my favorite movie/game tie-in.
