How funny… I just started reading Odd Thomas the other day. I was at Barnes and Noble, looking for Phantoms, but they didn’t have it. I saw they had Odd Thomas, and thought… “Hey, the trailer looked like John Dies at the End.” I bought the second book two days later. I will be finished with the first sometime tomorrow.
Forgot about American Mary that I started to watch but I was to tired so I just watched the 1st half hour and simply forgot about the film. Need to watch it.
At first glance I didn’t think much of Odd Thomas thinking it to be a fun but mediocre film but after your recommendation I need to watch it.
Watched a horror film called Oculus recently and was much better than I was expecting definitely one of the best horror films in recent years.
Watched Odd Thomas this morning. It’s pretty good. Chekov carries the entire thing on his back, but it was fun, and I wouldn’t mind a sequel.
Too bad Koontz can’t catch a break. Either his films are crap or they’re just dumped (apparently because of legal issues in this case). I’d love for them to make Lightning into a movie, but I’m terrified of what they’d end up with.

I look forward to reading more books by Koontz.
“American Mary”: if you *LOVE* the original Nokia Ringtone, you’ll *LOVE* “American Mary”. They should’ve called the film “Nokia Ringtone: The Movie”.
