Sad fact about Event Horizon is, they cutted it down to a mediocre haunted movie while it could have been an awesome horror flick, still great but the most intense scenes landed on the cutting room floor.
Even more saddening is that those scenes are gone forever, making an Directors Cut impossible 🙁
I still think it is good as is but I would love to see the “full” version. From what I heard they cut like 30 minutes. Maybe someday they will be able to put it together as like a workprint.

Event Horizon damaged me when I saw it when I was younger. Funny how that movie was more Doom than the Doom movie itself was.
And I thought they were teaching capoera in Only the Strong? Unless I missed something.

Heh. I watched Event Horizon on Netflix a couple weeks ago. Love it, love it, love it. Sam Neil is just awesome. Criminally underrated.
Sam Neil = instant awesome. Even in bad movies, he is great.
