The comment about ‘First Blood’ was not correct. Stallone said he wanted the ending changed because of the vets in the audience having rooted for the character. The DVD and blue-ray has Stallone explaining it. After seeing the movie, I read the novel and was surprised at how Rambo was different, where he was a psychotic villain. The way that novel ends was not shot for the movie. The death scene in the movie was weak in comparison to the novel’s ending.
